April

April holds a BA in Social Science from University College Dublin and a MA in Public Relations from Dublin Institute of Technology. Before undertaking her MA, April worked for Verve Marketing – Ireland’s largest independent event and promotions company and for Spin 1038 – a local radio station in Dublin Ireland. Since graduating from her MA in 2010, April has interned with Elevate PR – a boutique lifestyle agency in Dublin and with the Consumer Team in Edelman’s Dublin office. In the summer of 2011 April worked as an Account Executive in Edelman’s Dublin office.

Barney

Before joining the Graduate Scheme, Barney recently graduated with a First in English and French from the University of Warwick. In his third year at university, Barney spent the year in Paris, where he undertook a 9-month internship with Cohn & Wolfe in Paris. This left him with an enthusiasm for the world of international PR and also gave his French language ability a huge boost!

Chaanah

Chaanah attended the University of Technology in Sydney where she did a double degree in Media and Communications and International Studies, majoring in PR and Chinese. Chaanah has undertaken a number of internships, notably at Hill & Knowlton and Weber Shandwick. After finishing university, Chaanah decided to get in touch with her British roots and consequently crossed the seas to London where she secured a place on the Edelman Graduate Scheme.

Lottie

Lottie graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2009 with a BA in Media, Culture and Society. Throughout University she interned and completed work experience at The University of Birmingham Press and Marketing office, BSkyB Press and Publicity, and experienced the flip side of PR whilst working on a local BBC Radio news desk. Prior to joining the Graduate Scheme, Lottie worked as a Copywriting/PR Assistant for touring celebrity theatre company, Theatre Productions Ltd.

Polly

Polly graduated from Nottingham University in 2010 with a BA degree in Human Geography. After leaving university she spent 2 months working for Slice PR learning the ins and outs of consumer public relations, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Before joining Edelman Polly spent the summer travelling around South America and then driving the West Coast of America, but she is more than ready to throw herself into the world of work at Edelman.

Rosie

Before joining the Edelman Graduate Scheme, Rosie graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in English Literature and French. As part of her course, she spent a year studying at the Sorbonne in Paris and was also a private tutor of English as a foreign language. She has previously worked in the communications department at L’Oréal London and later completed a placement at Freud Communications. Throughout university she was a reporter for Exeter’s student newspaper, writing news reports and occasionally features.
