Friday drinks and nibbles is common practice here at Edelman – after all, we deserve a little bit of guilty pleasures after daily fresh fruits and toast breakfast every morning, oh and plenty of hard work! It’s also the place for us grads to catch up, have a pre-drink before heading to the famous Piano Bar (by the way, it’s not actually called Piano Bar and it hasn’t opened since the New Year so we may be looking to migrate elsewhere…)

Anyhow, this Friday’s drinks have a Scottish twist. Edelman Free Time (EFT) has organised a Burns Night to celebrate Robert Burn’s presumed birthday on 25 January.

So it’s shortbread, Scottish haggis, irn burn and other Scottish delights at 4:30pm. Oh, as with every EFT event, charity is a must. This time, we have a bottle of whisky for a charity raffle and all money collected will be donated to Borderline.
